About us

Founded in early 2005, Kejibaus Youth Development Initiative is a non-governmental organization located in Nigeria. Initially founded to instigate change, Kejibaus Youth Development Initiative has now gathered the attention of people from all walks of life.

Kejibaus Youth Development Initiative believes the development of African youth will affect the future of sustainability on an environmental and societal level. With a strong concern for the care of Africa’s ageing population, and driven by the ideas of young minds for young minds, Kejibaus Youth Development Initiative creates solutions for problems that are present in everyday society.

Kejibaus Youth Development Initiative was granted special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations in 2012. After being admitted observer organization to the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in 2013 and participating in the UN Global Compact, Kejibaus Youth Development Initiative saw partnerships rise and their vision being fulfilled.

These days, Kejibaus Youth Development Initiative continues to make a change to the learning resources and the development of the African youth and society at large.
